Patient and public experience

At Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance our patient and public experience work sees us:

  • striving to achieve meaningful co-production and co-design for service improvements
  • seeking the involvement of people with lived experience of cancer, their friends, family, and others
  • ensuring everyone is able to contribute, irrespective of age, race, gender, disability, belief
  • building links with under-represented communities
  • working collaboratively to improve cancer services
  • avoiding overlap and duplication when gathering information
  • informing patient partners of changes made following their feedback.

    Lived experience

We involve people with lived experience to help shape local cancer services.
