    Easy Read

    There are lots of resources in easy read that make it easier for people with learning disabilities or those who have difficulty reading to understand.

Easy Read resources

Bowel Screening: easy guide is a leaflet about bowel cancer screening, developed by and for people with learning disabilities available on the government website.

Prostate Cancer UK has an Easy Read booklet `My Prostate: what changes should I look out for?'. It uses pictures and easy words to explain how to spot a prostate problem.

Macmillan Cancer Support has a number of Easy read leaflets including:

Ansar Projects has created a series of accessible resources to support people with a learning disability to know their body.

The resources include  accessible breast and testicular cancer information packs, self-checking cards, and information on what to expect if you notice a change.

Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support produces a range of information in languages other than English, and offers an interpreter service for its Macmillan Support Line.

Using your Bowel Cancer Screening Kit includes a range of NHS subtitled videos available on Vimeo. The short animation explains how to use your bowel cancer screening kit. Subtitles are available in
