Who we are
Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance brings together clinicians and managers from health, social care and other services to transform diagnosis, treatment and care for cancer patients.
Our partnerships enable care to be more effectively planned across local cancer pathways.
The alliance is made up of many stakeholders, including:
- hospital, community health and primary care providers
- NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB)
- NHS England
- hospices
- patient partners
- voluntary and charitable organisations (such as Macmillan, Cancer Research UK)
- National Institute for Health Research (NIHR)
- public health
It also has strong links with neighbouring cancer alliances in the south east including Surrey and Sussex and south east London.
