Patient and Public Engagement Strategy 2025-27
Our patient and public engagement strategy 2025-27 sets out how we will involve patients and the public in our work.
It has been developed by our Patients Working Together Group and has three aims:
- Strive to achieve meaningful co-production and co-design for service improvements across all work streams and priorities of the Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance.
- Involve cancer lived experience partners, their friends, family, and other stakeholders, ensuring all members of society are able to contribute, irrespective of age, race, gender, disability, belief, or any other protected characteristic, while building links with underrepresented communities.
- Ensure that patient partners are fully informed of changes made, or not, due to their engagement.
