This Patient Partnership Week (29 June to 3 July 2026) we are shining a light on our patient partners here at Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance.

Over the last year, our patient partners have been sharing their experiences while co-producing information for patients and supporting our work programmes.

Our Involvement Manager Tracey Squire said: “Our patient partners play a critical role in the work we do.

“One  highlight over the last year has been the production of our 'limbo land'film series - short videos by patients for patients - to support people navigating the stages of waiting on a cancer pathway .

“We would love more people to join us  as patient partners. Sometimes called an expert-by-experience or referred to as someone with lived experience, patients, carers , family members or friends, can all be patient partners. Come and join us.”
